What Is NKY Restaurants?

NKY Restaurants is a directory of locally-owned, independent restaurants across Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati. Our mission is simple: help you find the great mom-and-pop spots, neighborhood diners, and family-run kitchens that make this region's food scene special — without the noise of national chains cluttering the results.

Why Independent Restaurants?

Northern Kentucky has an incredible collection of locally-owned eateries — from Burlington's small-but-mighty downtown dining scene to Covington's Mainstrasse Village, Newport's riverfront spots, and the hidden gems tucked into Fort Thomas and Alexandria. These places have character, community ties, and food made by people who care. They're worth finding.

We don't list McDonald's, Applebee's, or Olive Garden. We list the places that locals recommend to out-of-town visitors. If you know a spot we're missing, let us know.
